Where can I read reviews of the shop before I buy my wedding dress?
You can find reviews of the shop on Google, Facebook and Trustpilot, and in the Danish wedding groups where brides write about buying their wedding dresses. Read the middling reviews, not just the best and the worst, because they say most about what it is really like. If you would rather hear it directly, ask us a specific question, as the way a shop answers also tells you something. Get to know us on our about us page.
Are you a registered Danish company with a CVR number when I buy my wedding dress from you?
Yes, we are a registered Danish company with a CVR number and a physical showroom in Hvidovre, about 15 minutes from Copenhagen, and our emails get read. You can look us up and drop by before you buy your wedding dress. That is exactly what sets a Danish shop apart from a foreign website, where there is nobody to contact if something goes wrong. Read more about us and the showroom.
Do you offer open purchase or exchange on veils and accessories for the wedding dress?
Ask us when you buy accessories, and have an open purchase written on the receipt. In a physical shop, the right to exchange or return is not something the law gives you but something the shop chooses to offer, so it has to be agreed at the time of purchase. If you buy in the webshop, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal. Try the veil and shoes with the dress in the shop, and there is rarely any need to exchange. See our bridal accessories and veils.
What right to complain do I have if there is a fault in my wedding dress?
Under the Danish Sale of Goods Act you have two years to complain about defects that were there from the start, for example a seam that comes undone because it was sewn incorrectly. Normal wear and damage from the party are not covered, but our seamstress can often repair them. Keep the receipt, as it shows the date of purchase. If you discover a defect in the wedding dress, send us a photo as soon as possible via the contact page.
What do you do with the personal details I give when I book a wedding dress fitting?
We use your details to hold your appointment and find wedding dresses in your size, meaning your name, phone number, email address, size and wedding date. We do not sell details on. If you want them deleted, write to us and we will do it. You are only added to the newsletter if you say yes to it yourself. Send a deletion request via the contact page.
Do you use photos of me in my wedding dress in your marketing without asking?
No, we only use photos of you in our marketing if you say yes. If you send us a photo of yourself in the wedding gown from your day and we would like to show it, we ask first, and you can say no without any fuss. If you would rather not be photographed in the shop, say so when you arrive. If we have posted something you want removed, write to us via the contact page, and we will take it down.
