Feel free to book a fitting the same day so you can try the dress on before you pay. That is the safest route, because a wedding dress rarely fits exactly the way you imagine. I have ordered a wedding dress from your webshop, how quickly will it be sent?

We send the wedding dress from our own stock, so there is no factory to wait for. The dress is packed and dispatched as soon as the order is confirmed, and after that the carrier's normal delivery time in Denmark applies. If the dress is going to Sweden or Norway, we tell you the price and delivery time before we send it. If your wedding date is close, write it in the comments field when you order. How do I return a wedding dress I bought online from you?

You can return a wedding dress bought online within 14 days of the day you received it. Contact us first and we will tell you where to send the dress. The dress must come back in the same condition as you received it, so try it on over your own clothes and leave the tags on. A dress that has been altered to your measurements cannot be returned. Keep the receipt and proof of postage, and use the contact form when you want to send the dress back.

How do I find my size in your size guide when buying a wedding dress online?

Measure yourself and compare with the size guide instead of going by your normal clothing size, because bridal sizes come up one to two sizes smaller. Measure your bust over the fullest point, your waist at the narrowest point and your hips over the widest. If you are between two sizes, choose the larger one, because a wedding dress is easier to take in than to let out. If in doubt, send us your measurements, and we will tell you which size we would choose. You will find all the measurements in our size guide.

Does the wedding dress look the same colour in real life as it does on my screen?

No, not quite. White, ivory and champagne are close to each other, and a screen shows the colours differently depending on settings and light. If the colour matters to you, come and see the wedding dress in daylight at the showroom, or write to us and we will tell you whether it is bright white, warm ivory or champagne. We say it as it is, not as it sells best. Book a fitting, or ask us about the colour, before you decide.

Are the photos on your website of the wedding dresses you actually have?

Yes, the photos on brudekjoleoutlet.dk are of our own wedding dresses, not borrowed from a factory catalogue. That is why you can see how the fabric looks in our light. It also means a dress can be sold shortly after you have seen it, because we only have one piece of each model. Send us the model number before you drive to Hvidovre and we will check that the dress is still here. See the photos of all our wedding dresses and note down the model numbers.

Can you reserve a wedding dress for me until I can come by the shop?

Yes, often for a couple of days, but we agree on reserving a wedding dress case by case. Because we have one piece of each model, we cannot hold many dresses back for a long time. We write down what we have agreed and how long the dress is held for you. Contact us with the model number, and call rather than write if you are coming within a few days. How do I find out when you get new wedding dresses in or hold a sale?

Sign up for the newsletter on brudekjoleoutlet.dk and follow us on Instagram and Facebook. We post sample sale dates as soon as they are set, and new models go on the site once they have been photographed. If you are looking for something specific, such as a size or a cut, write to us and we will let you know when a matching dress comes in. Until then you can keep an eye on the sale.

Do you sell gift cards for wedding dresses that you can give to a bride-to-be?

Yes, contact us and we will agree on the amount and how you receive the gift card. A gift card from Brudekjoleoutlet can be used on the wedding dress, on accessories or on the tailor's work. It is a good answer when the family asks what to give the bride. Tell us who the gift card is for and we will write the name on it. Order it via the contact page, or see what it can be used for among our bridal accessories.

How do I get the quickest answer from you about a wedding dress: by phone, email or Instagram?

Phone gives the quickest reply when it is about a specific wedding dress or an appointment at the showroom. Email is best when you want to send photos, measurements or model numbers, because then we have everything in writing. We also read Instagram, but messages there can wait longer when the shop is busy. So choose the phone for anything urgent and email for anything that needs to be documented.
