24/7 wedding dress outlet: an urgent wedding dress – even in the middle of the night
It is 11.40 pm on a Thursday evening. The wedding is on Saturday. And the dress you have been waiting four months for is still stuck in a container somewhere. Or it arrived, but it does not fit. Or the seamstress cut it wrong.

Why we started a 24/7 wedding dress outlet
We have worked with wedding dresses for many years. And again and again we got the same calls. Panic calls. From brides who needed a wedding dress urgently and had rung every shop in town. The answer was always the same: “We have no free appointments for three weeks.”
That was hard to hear. Because the dresses were right there. On the rail. Ready to be worn.
So we thought: why should a shop only be open when it suits the shop? Why not open when it suits the bride?
That was the start of our wedding dress outlet, open 24/7 when needed. As far as we know, we were the first in Europe to do it.
How it works in practice
We are not sitting behind the counter at four in the morning waiting for someone to drop by. It works a bit like an out-of-hours doctor – just for dresses.
You call or write to us. You tell us what has happened, when you need the dress and roughly what size you are. Then we find a time when we unlock the shop for you. Sometimes the same evening. Sometimes early the next morning, before you go to work.
When you arrive, you have the shop completely to yourself. No other customers, no rush, nobody watching. Just you, us and lots of beautiful dresses. And when you have found the right one, you take it home. The same day.
Who actually comes to us?
Probably not who you think. Of course there is the bride with the delayed dress. We see her often. But there are many others too.
There is the couple who decided to marry at the city hall in three weeks because they simply did not want to wait any longer. There is the couple from abroad who flew to Denmark to get married and chose to buy the dress here instead of carrying it on the plane.
And then there are all those who are not getting married at all. The woman invited to a gala who discovers the night before that last year's dress no longer fits. The mother of the bride who bought a dress she does not like after all. The bridesmaid who spilled coffee down herself two days before.
We have seen it all. And we judge no one. When you need a party dress urgently, you need it. Full stop.
What does a wedding dress cost with us?
We are an outlet, and you can tell from the price. Our dresses are new, but they are typically last season's models, sample dresses or remaining stock from designers you probably know. That means you can get a really lovely wedding dress for far less than you would pay in an ordinary bridal shop.
We have most styles: classic A-line dresses, big princess gowns, slim mermaid cuts, flowing boho dresses and simple, elegant city hall dresses. We also have plus size wedding dresses, party dresses, evening gowns and bridesmaid dresses. And all the small things – veils, belts, jewellery and hair accessories.

A cheap wedding dress, by the way, is not the same as a dress that looks cheap. Many times we have seen a bride look in the mirror and say: “Is it really that cheap?” It is one of the best moments in our job.
A few tips if you are in a hurry
When time is short, it is easy to get a little stressed in the fitting room. Here is what we usually tell our brides.
First: know your measurements. Bust, waist and hips. It takes two minutes with a tape measure and saves us both a lot of time.
Second: be open. Many come in with a particular Pinterest picture in their head and leave with something completely different. They are often the happiest.
Third: bring one person, not five. A good friend or your mother is perfect. Too many opinions only make it harder.
And remember to bring the shoes and underwear you will wear on the day. Then you can see how it will all look.
Questions we often get
Are you really open at night? Yes, by appointment. Call or write and we will find a time. Even if it is late.
Does it cost extra? Yes. Outside normal opening hours it costs DKK 1,500 per hour to have the shop opened, and you then have the whole shop to yourself.
Can I take the dress home straight away? Yes. Everything you see in the shop is in stock.
Can you alter the dress? Small things such as taking up the hem or taking it in a little can often be done quickly. Bigger changes take a little longer.
Do I have to be a bride to come? Not at all. Many of our customers are going to a party, a gala dinner or a confirmation.
